Unicorn Popcorn

Unicorns are lots of fun. They give a fun and mystical side to the imagination and make for a great theme. Unicorn Popcorn is no exception, it’s fun and magical. It can be made up quickly for a party or an afternoon treat, and the recipe is easily halved or doubled depending on how much you need

Gel food colorings are a better option than liquid food colorings when working with melted chocolate. The liquid can cause the melted chocolate to seize as they usually contain water.

If you want to you can also reserve a bit of the white chocolate to the side and once the popcorn is in the serving bowls, melt and drizzle the rest of the white chocolate over the top and add more sprinkles to give it a finished look

  • 200 g White Chocolate
  • A few drops Pink Food Gel
  • Sprinkles
  • Edible Glitter

  1. Spread out popcorn on a flat baking tray

  2. Melt white chocolate in the microwave. This is best done on medium and in short bursts (30 seconds or less) and stirring in between to make sure chocolate doesn't seize

  3. Add drops of pink food gel to melted chocolate and stir until mixed

  4. Drizzle chocolate over popcorn

  5. Add sprinkles and glitter. The sprinkles stick best if they are put onto the chocolate

  6. Once chocolate is cool, put into bowls and serve
